What is Coaching?
Coaching helps people set and attain goals, both personally and professionally, through a variety of inquiries and tools. It is a forward-thinking process based on a co-created and supportive relationship that is upbeat and positive. In contrast to therapy, which often looks back, coaching builds on one’s strengths, cultivates clarity, and is committed to action-taking.
Why Conscious Coaching?
Conscious Coaching supports actions based on choice and awareness, not habit, expectations of others, or because “that’s the way things are done.” There is a conscious decision made.
Conscious Coaching recognizes that there are other realms besides setting a goal, following through, and achieving that goal. People also need to tease things out, to open them up, to put some space and air in their processing of meanings or information so they can see clearly. Metaphorically, there may be a balled up piece of yarn to untangle and tease out so you know what's there, what to talk about, what's in the clearing--or what to clear out so you can "see" elsewhere, so that the "ball" isn't holding you back. Sometimes just a simple change of awareness or way of looking at a person, thing, or situation is all it takes to remove an obstacle or pain point—and to allow true change in thought and action.

Coaching allows individuals to experience greater fulfillment and enjoyment in their lives. For example:

Conscious Coaching
Conscious Coaching sessions take place over the phone or Skype and are a co-created “space” between coach and coachee. In=person sessions are possible if this is your preference.
We’ll start with an initial Exploration Session so you can get a feel for how Conscious Coaching works and we can see what it’s like to work together. Then we'll customize our "shared space" to meet your evolving personal and scheduling needs. Most clients find weekly sessions optimal while others prefer two sessions each week or even one every two weeks with interactive connection between sessions. We'll make it work for you -- not too fast and not too slow.
All coaching incorporates updates and spot coaching by email between sessions.
Fees are paid upfront on a monthly basis unless otherwise agreed upon.
To allow time for ongoing change to take place, a 12-week commitment to coaching is strongly suggested. Acute issues can be addressed too. Let's connect to start your transformation now.
